Assistant Manager - Hollister Store, Madrid

About the role

Abercrombie & Fitch is hiring an Assistant Manager for its Hollister store in Madrid. The role combines business strategy, operations, creativity and people management: driving sales through analysis and customer service, overseeing daily store operations, and leading the team from recruitment and training to engagement and development. Key responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing routines
• Supervise the sales floor and stockroom, ensuring excellent customer service and smooth operations
• Handle staffing, scheduling, payroll management and train and develop non-management staff
• Demonstrate product knowledge and brand awareness while driving sales
• Build and maintain visual displays and analyze reports to inform decisions
• Protect store assets, run inventory control and operate register and point-of-sale systems
• Fulfill omnichannel orders and represent the brand and company values

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or one year of supervisory experience in a customer-facing role
• Fluency in English and Spanish (CEFR B2), required
• Strong customer focus, knowledge of current fashion trends and a drive to achieve results
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, coaching ability and ability to balance multiple tasks
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment

The starting rate is 27,500 EUR per year. Job offers may be conditional on completing the applicable work visa formalities.
