Assistant Relationship Manager 100% (Intermediaries)

About the role

Julius Baer is hiring an Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) for its Intermediaries team in Madrid. The ARM supports one or more Relationship Managers and Group Heads in daily operations, administration, client care and relationship management, interacting with internal and external stakeholders and helping implement customized client solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Support RMs and Group Heads in client interactions and related tasks such as systems, processes, files and documents
• Customize client requests such as reports, statistics and mailings
• Manage the RM's calendar, prepare client meetings, organize business trips and handle post-processing of calls, meetings and trips
• Compile presentations and support marketing activities such as client receptions, meetings, events and business trips
• Carry out operational transactions for Intermediaries and their end-clients, including investment instructions, payments, loan requests, account openings and special conditions
• Contribute to the team's troubleshooting activity together with the other ARMs

Required profile

• Familiarity with the legal and regulatory environment of the covered geographic market(s) and cultural awareness
• Good understanding of wealth-management products and services, focused on the Intermediaries market
• Basic knowledge of global financial markets and industry trends
• Excellent communication skills and proven experience serving banking clients with complex needs
• Highly service-oriented, able to handle sensitive situations discreetly and with risk awareness
• Decisive, result-oriented, systematic and able to work under pressure

Required skills

• Great knowledge of English, verbal and written
• Ability to communicate with clients and internal and external stakeholders at different management levels
• Strong organizational skills
