Assistant Restaurant Manager – Occidental Jandía Playa

About the role

The Assistant Restaurant Manager will support the head of restaurants at the Occidental Jandía Playa resort, ensuring smooth daily operations, high service quality, and achievement of sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and control defined service processes.
• Achieve departmental sales plan and revenue generation through promotional actions and team training.
• Organise and coordinate all restaurant and bar services.
• Control costs by efficiently managing available resources.
• Lead, train, motivate and develop the restaurant team.
• Maintain service quality in line with guest expectations and Maitre instructions.

Required profile

• Higher vocational training in Hospitality or a degree in Tourism.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar restaurant management role.
• High level of English; a second language is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills, customer orientation and ability to work in a team.
• Professional personal image.

Required skills

• HACCP (APPCC) certification or training.
• Proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office).
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment, products and utensils.
