About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Waiter/Waitress to join our team at the Barceló Costa Ballena resort. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in food and beverage service within a dynamic hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the service and sale of food and beverages with a degree of autonomy.
• Perform auxiliary tasks such as setting up work areas, preparing tables, and arranging banquet equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the service zone and handling utensils.
• Support customer service and help with billing and payment processes.
• Collaborate with the supervising staff to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

Required profile

• Interest in the hospitality sector; no prior experience required, though basic bar experience is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and as part of a team.
• Physical capability to move beer barrels, carry trays, and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
