Audit Associate – Hybrid Role in Malaga

About the role

Join EY GDS Spain as an Audit Associate and work in a hybrid setting from our Malaga office. You will support clients through audit engagements, leveraging modern technologies and contributing to digital transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the administration of audit, reporting and documentation.
• Identify potential audit issues or unusual relationships by analysing financial statements.
• Apply accounting and auditing concepts during audit work and verify the accuracy of reports.
• Document the execution of specific audit procedures, controls and processes.
• Create audit and accounting client deliverables.
• Collect financial data from clients and analyse documentation for audit risks.

Required profile

• University degree with a basic understanding of accounting and assurance concepts.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience in basic accounting.
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
• Logical reasoning, ability to multitask, work under pressure and a commitment to continuous learning.
• Proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of SAP.
• Very good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package.
