Automation QA Engineer (QVAC) – Remote

About the role
We are looking for an Automation QA Engineer with strong automation skills who will also own manual testing for our desktop and mobile applications. The role is fully remote and part of a global fintech team.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
- Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions) and keep them fast and reliable.
- Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
- Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
- Collaborate with developers and product owners on testability and acceptance criteria.
Required profile
- 4+ years of experience in QA automation with hands‑on manual and exploratory testing.
- Strong programming skills in TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps on real iOS and Android devices.
- Ability to choose manual or automated coverage based on risk and maintain regression suites.
Required skills
- Playwright for desktop/web automation.
- WebdriverIO and Appium for mobile automation.
- Running tests in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
- Using AI tools in QA and critically reviewing their output.
