About the role

The Hotel Barceló Ponent Beach is looking for a motivated Waiter Assistant to support the dining team in delivering excellent service to guests. This entry‑level position involves direct interaction with customers, helping them settle, and ensuring smooth operation of food and beverage areas.

Key responsibilities

• Assist guests upon arrival and help them get comfortably seated.
• Support the service team in serving drinks and meals.
• Participate in setting up, arranging, and clearing tables and service stations.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the assigned work area and equipment.

Required profile

• Medium‑level hospitality training (Ciclo Formativo Grado Medio in Hospitality).
• Mandatory HACCP (APPCC) training.
• At least one year of experience in a similar role.
• High level of English proficiency.
• Team‑oriented attitude, stress tolerance, agility and good personal presentation.
• Strong social skills and customer‑focused mindset.
