About the role
We are looking for a dedicated floor attendant to join the housekeeping team at Hotel Occidental Playa de Palma. The role involves maintaining the cleanliness and order of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a pleasant stay for our visitors.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare cleaning supplies, equipment and tools required for daily tasks.
- Clean and arrange guest rooms and common areas, checking the condition of furniture, fixtures and minibar items.
- Make beds, ventilate rooms, replace linens, replenish toiletries and restock minibar supplies.
- Attend to guest requests, handle complaints and process lost‑and‑found items according to established protocols.
- Report any damages or maintenance issues observed during cleaning.
- Collect used linens and send them to laundry, and keep work areas tidy.
Required profile
- Basic education (ESO or equivalent).
- Previous experience in a similar housekeeping position is desirable.
- Basic knowledge of English is a plus.
- Interest or background in hospitality is valued.
- Customer‑oriented, team‑player, organized and motivated.
