Ayudante de Camarero/a – Hotel Occidental Playa de Palma

About the role

We are looking for a Waiter Assistant to join the team at Hotel Occidental Playa de Palma, part of the Barceló Group. The role supports the restaurant and bar areas, ensuring guests receive prompt and friendly service while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Assist guests at reception and help them settle into the dining area when needed.
• Serve beverages and meals directly to customers, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Prepare, set up, and dismantle service stations for meals, buffets, and events.
• Maintain cleanliness and perform basic maintenance of the work area and equipment.

Required profile

• Medium‑level vocational training in Hospitality (Ciclo Formativo Grado Medio en Hostelería).
• Mandatory HACCP (food safety) training.
• At least one year of experience in a similar role.
• High level of English proficiency.
• Team‑player with the ability to work under pressure.
• Well‑groomed personal image and strong customer orientation.
