Ayudante de Camarero/a

About the role

Barceló is looking for a motivated Ayudante de Camarero/a to support the restaurant team in Las Palmas. You will assist guests from arrival to departure, ensuring a smooth and pleasant dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate in welcoming guests and help them settle at their tables when needed.
• Assist in direct service of drinks and meals, supporting wait staff.
• Participate in the preparation, set‑up and breakdown of service areas.
• Help maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the work zone and equipment.

Required profile

• Medium‑level vocational training in Hospitality (Ciclo Formativo Grado Medio en Hostelería).
• Mandatory HACCP (APPCC) certification.
• At least one year of experience in a similar role.
• High level of English.
• Team player with stress tolerance, agility, good personal image and strong customer orientation.

Required skills

• HACCP (food safety) knowledge.
