About the role

We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join the culinary team at Barceló Santa Cruz Contemporáneo. The successful candidate will support daily food preparation and maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment in a 4‑star hotel setting.

Key responsibilities

Maintain the kitchen in optimal hygiene and order.
Clean, peel and cut vegetables.
Mix ingredients for various dishes.
Pluck poultry, chop meat and scale fish.
Keep kitchen tools and utensils clean.
Assist in preserving raw materials and kitchen products.

Required profile

Medium‑level vocational training in Cooking and Gastronomy (Ciclo formativo de Grado Medio).
Completed HACCP (APPCC) course.
Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar kitchen assistant role.
No language requirement; hospitality knowledge is a plus.

Required skills

HACCP knowledge.
