Ayudante de Cocina – Hamilton

About the role

The Kitchen Assistant will support the culinary team at Barceló Hamilton, ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly, safely and hygienically. This onsite position is ideal for candidates with basic culinary training who enjoy hands‑on food preparation in a hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the kitchen in optimal hygiene and order.
• Clean, peel and cut vegetables.
• Mix ingredients according to recipes.
• Prepare poultry, chop meat and scale fish.
• Keep kitchen workstations and utensils clean.
• Assist in the preservation of raw materials and kitchen products.

Required profile

• Mid‑level culinary or gastronomy training (Ciclo formativo de Grado Medio de Cocina y Gastronomía).
• Completed HACCP (APPCC) course.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar kitchen role.
• No language requirement; hospitality knowledge is a plus.
