About the role

Barceló Hotel Group is looking for a Kitchen Assistant to support the daily operations of its hotel kitchen in Las Palmas. The role involves maintaining hygiene standards, preparing ingredients, and assisting the culinary team to ensure smooth service.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the kitchen in optimal hygiene and order.
• Clean, peel and cut vegetables.
• Mix ingredients according to recipes.
• Prepare poultry, chop meat and scale fish.
• Keep kitchen equipment and utensils clean.
• Assist in the preservation of raw materials and kitchen products.

Required profile

• Medium-level culinary training (Ciclo formativo de Grado Medio de Cocina y Gastronomía) and an APPCC course.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar kitchen position.
• No language requirement; hospitality knowledge is a plus.
