About the role

Join the culinary team at Barceló Hotel Santiago as a Kitchen Assistant. You will support daily kitchen operations, ensuring hygiene, order, and efficient food preparation for hotel guests.

Key responsibilities

Maintain the kitchen in optimal hygiene and organization.
Clean, peel, and cut vegetables.
Mix ingredients according to recipes.
Prepare poultry by plucking and cleaning.
Chop meat and scale fish.
Keep kitchen tools and work areas clean.
Assist in preserving raw materials and kitchen products.

Required profile

Medium‑level culinary training (Ciclo formativo de Grado Medio de Cocina y Gastronomía).
Completed HACCP (APPCC) course.
Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar kitchen role.
No language requirement; hospitality knowledge is a plus.

Required skills

HACCP knowledge.
