Backend Software Engineer – Core AI

About the role

Goodweek is building a next‑generation AI platform to boost business productivity. As a Backend Software Engineer you will own core AI services, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and high‑performing.

Key responsibilities

• Develop robust backend services for AI systems such as RAG, model orchestration, and vector databases.
• Design and implement scalable APIs that integrate large language models and AI workflows.
• Maintain security, observability, and performance across the infrastructure.
• Automate deployment pipelines, monitoring, and testing.
• Participate in architecture and technology‑stack decisions.
• Document technical solutions and share knowledge with the team.
• Continuously improve the AI platform with innovative solutions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience with Node.js and TypeScript (NestJS/React).
• Hands‑on experience or strong familiarity with AI/ML integration (LLMs, RAG, etc.).
• Solid understanding of backend architecture, scalability, and security best practices.
• Experience with databases, authentication mechanisms, and cloud platforms.
• Proficiency with CI/CD, Git workflows, and agile methodologies.
• Strong technical communication in English.
