Backend Software Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The role focuses on building scalable, robust software solutions for our B2B application using modern development practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, efficient, high‑quality backend systems using Java and Spring.
• Follow agile methodologies to deliver features iteratively.
• Participate in high‑level architectural decisions ensuring scalability, performance and security.
• Mentor and guide other developers, fostering knowledge sharing.
• Ensure technology stack and systems can scale alongside business growth.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience with a focus on backend development.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.

Required skills

• Java (deep understanding of JVM, memory management and profiling).
• Spring Framework (Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring JPA).
• Object‑Oriented Programming, software architecture principles.
• SOLID principles, Clean Architecture, design patterns.
• Relational databases and performance tuning.
• Test‑Driven Development (TDD).
• Cloud environments, especially AWS (IaaS/PaaS).
• DevOps practices.
