Benelux Database Operations Team Leader (Dutch Native Speaker, Madrid)

About the role

A Madrid-based production hub is looking for a Team Leader with a native or bilingual level of Dutch to lead the Benelux database operations team. The role focuses on planning the team's daily workload, building in-depth knowledge of the Belgian and Dutch healthcare systems and managing ad-hoc projects. Basic French is a nice-to-have.

Key responsibilities

• Distribute the daily workload among the DBOs and give feedback to the supervisor
• Support the design and compliance of the SLA with the Local Business and monitor team performance, updating KPIs for quality assurance and productivity
• Ensure DBOs follow their daily SLA and that SOPs are applied, supporting them and creating action plans to mitigate procedural deviations
• Share knowledge about the Benelux healthcare system with the team and act as first-level escalation point for the Local Office and Global Team
• Resolve or dispatch client complaints through the ticketing system and plan bank holiday shifts
• Plan ad-hoc operations with the local team, estimate deadlines and assess internal or temporary resources
• Define proactive quality activities, identify reference sources for improving database quality and keep a fluid line of communication with the Production Manager on risks and mitigation plans

Required profile

• Native or bilingual Dutch; basic French desirable
• Verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English
• Team management skills and ability to identify complex problems and propose solutions
• Risk identification skills and customer focus
