Brand & PR Manager

About the role

The Hoxton Poblenou is seeking an experienced Brand & PR Manager to shape the hotel's identity, drive local engagement, and elevate its restaurants, bars, and event spaces. Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead communications, partnership strategy, and guest‑experience programming to make the property a cultural hotspot.

Key responsibilities

• Position the hotel, its restaurants (Four Corners, Tope) and event spaces as must‑visit destinations for locals, national and international guests.
• Develop and execute innovative brand‑driven initiatives that support business goals, including lobby culture, F&B positioning, and creative programming for the La Cava space.
• Generate and manage content for local restaurant social‑media channels, collaborating with the central communications team and brand coordinator.
• Own the local PR strategy, working with the Head of Communications/Marketing to secure media and influencer coverage for the hotel and its venues.
• Build and nurture a community of loyal Hox Friends, social influencers, local professionals and opinion leaders.
• Identify and activate local partnerships that expand audience reach and reinforce brand positioning.
• Produce local communications, including email newsletters and editorial content for The Localist platform.

Required profile

• Proven experience in brand management and public relations, preferably within hospitality or lifestyle brands.
• Strong understanding of the Barcelona market and ability to connect with diverse audiences.
• Excellent storytelling and communication skills, with a track record of securing media coverage.
• Creative thinker who can translate brand values into memorable guest experiences.
