Business Analyst Intern

About the role

HP is recruiting a Business Analyst Intern for its Indigo EMEA Industrial team in Sant Cugat del Valles. The internship sits at the intersection of business analytics, commercial strategy, finance and AI-enabled process improvement, working with a regional team that supports real business decisions across EMEA. It is not just a reporting role: candidates should be curious and analytical, willing to challenge existing processes and explore how analytics, automation and AI can make them better.

To be eligible, you must be currently enrolled at a university in Spain, stay enrolled until the end of the internship and be able to sign an internship agreement with your university. Availability starts in February 2027 and continues until June-July 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse commercial opportunities by combining financial, pricing and business information
• Collect, consolidate and analyse data from different sources to find trends and insights
• Identify repetitive or inefficient activities and propose ways to simplify, standardise and scale them
• Explore practical uses of AI and automation to speed up analysis and reduce manual work
• Turn complex information into clear dashboards, summaries and recommendations for stakeholders
• Take ownership of specific analyses or improvement projects from problem definition to recommendation

Required profile

• Student or recent graduate in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Data Analytics or a related field
• Strong analytical mindset and comfort working with data
• Interest in AI, automation and new digital tools
• Fluent or strong professional English
• Nice to have: Power BI or similar tools, exposure to AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, basic knowledge of financial analysis or pricing, and another professional language
