Managed Services Costing Transformation Intern

About the role

HP Barcelona is looking for a Managed Services Costing Transformation Intern to support the execution and operationalization of its MS Costing Transformation program. The intern works closely with the Costing Transformation lead and cross-functional stakeholders on transformation governance, program tracking, costing processes and tools, business requirements documentation, stakeholder communication and reporting, and knowledge management. The position offers exposure to a large business transformation covering costing governance, cost competitiveness and related processes.

To be eligible, you must be currently enrolled at a university in Spain, stay enrolled until the end of the internship and be able to sign an internship agreement with your university. Availability starts in February 2027 and continues until June-July 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Support the MS Costing Transformation roadmap, milestones, action plans and status reporting, and track deliverables, dependencies, owners and agreed actions.
• Follow up with workstream owners on outstanding actions and consolidate progress.
• Support the MS Costing Governance framework, process documentation, RACI/ownership information and governance materials, and coordinate Cost Owner and Service Delivery Owner activities.
• Support the adoption of key assets: maintain supporting information, prepare test/use cases, monitor workflows, capture feedback, support user onboarding and guidance, and support Smartsheet workflows and reporting.
• Explore ways to simplify recurring tasks with AI and automation, use Microsoft 365 Copilot for research, documentation and summarization, support Copilot Notebooks, and structure SharePoint/Teams content for reuse.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Information Systems, Data/Business Analytics or similar.
• Fluent English, spoken and written.
• Analytical, structured problem-solving approach and curiosity about business processes, transformation and technology.
• Good written communication and documentation skills, and ability to organize complex information and coordinate actions across stakeholders.

Required skills

• Good Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Microsoft 365 Copilot and/or other agentic AI products.
