Business Analyst

About the role

The Business Analyst will act as a key liaison between Chevron Global Tech and the EM, supporting contract and procurement functions. The role focuses on coordinating service orders, analyzing approval processes, and driving automation to improve efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Interface directly with internal and external stakeholders for contract planning, procurement transactions, and service order approvals.
• Coordinate approval of Service Orders/POs, generate reports, and provide trend analysis and recommendations.
• Analyze P/SCM datasets, identify data quality gaps, and work with partners to normalize data for accurate comparisons.
• Track and secure approvals for services confirmation and material deliveries, ensuring timelines are met.
• Develop low‑complexity automation solutions in collaboration with Power Users.
• Consolidate procurement and contract expenditure reports, generate accruals, and support Board of Directors approvals.
• Advocate for digital technologies to enhance process efficiency and continuity across finance, planning, and supply chain.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in supply‑chain management or procurement processes.
• Medium proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical abilities and customer‑service orientation.
• Basic understanding of contracting risk and contracts administration.

Required skills

• High proficiency in Excel.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office 365 suite.
• Experience with Power BI and Power Apps.
• Familiarity with SCM systems such as SAP, JDE, or SMART GEP.
