Business Development & Partnerships Analyst

About the role

Santander Corporate & Investment Banking is seeking a Business Development & Partnerships Analyst to join its Global Transaction Banking (GTB) team in Madrid. The role supports the Head of GTB Europe and senior leadership in defining and executing strategic priorities across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Head of GTB Europe and the GTB Management team to align and execute the strategic agenda.
• Coordinate the strategic planning process across GTB Europe, ensuring alignment between business lines, support functions, and overall objectives.
• Monitor business performance by defining, analysing, and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) related to financial results, commercial activity, and resource planning.
• Develop and maintain market intelligence, competitive analysis, and industry insights to support decision‑making.
• Lead annual planning and financial review processes in collaboration with Finance and Control functions.
• Drive governance and management reporting, coordinating executive forums, strategic reviews, and performance discussions.
• Support internal communications and engagement activities to increase visibility of GTB Europe’s strategy and achievements.
