Business Finance Internship

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is offering a one-year full-time Business Finance internship in Madrid, within its Career Programs. The intern learns from an experienced Finance team and gains exposure to key business and financial processes, supporting the Business Controlling team and other finance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business unit and functional performance from a financial perspective with the Business Controlling team
• Help prepare and coordinate the annual budget and forecast cycles
• Support monthly and quarterly sales and OPEX reports and analyze key business trends
• Assist with financial data reviews and accounting activities to support accurate financial reporting
• Help prepare operating procedures, documentation and internal audit requests
• Contribute to process improvement and identify efficiency gains through digital tools and automation
• Support ongoing Finance projects and interact with stakeholders across the organization
• Learn about financial planning, business partnering, performance management and decision-making in a leading healthcare company

Required profile

• Student currently pursuing a degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field
• High level of English
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in business and finance
• Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive, curious and eager to learn
• Ability to organize work and manage multiple priorities
• Interest in a career in Finance and Business Partnering

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Excel and digital tools
