Camarero/a - Hotel Occidental Las Canteras

About the role

We are looking for a motivated waiter/waitress to join the team at Hotel Occidental Las Canteras, part of the Barceló Group. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality food and beverage service to our guests in a dynamic hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide qualified, autonomous and responsible service and sale of food and drinks.
• Greet guests, seat them when required and ensure a pleasant dining experience.
• Serve food and beverages directly to guests, addressing their needs promptly.
• Prepare, set up and dismantle service areas, including arranging tables and chairs.
• Maintain and prepare work areas and equipment to guarantee smooth service operations.

Required profile

• Medium‑level vocational training in Hospitality (Ciclo Formativo Grado Medio en Hostelería) and HACCP certification.
• At least one year of experience in a similar waiter/waitress role.
• High level of English proficiency.
• Knowledge of mixology, restaurant and hospitality operations is valued.
• Team‑oriented, able to work under stress, with good personal presentation and customer focus.
