About the role

Join the Barceló Hotel Group as a waiter at the Occidental Las Canteras hotel in Gran Canaria. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality food and beverage service to guests in a dynamic, hospitality‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute food and beverage service and sales autonomously and responsibly.
• Welcome guests, seat them when necessary, and ensure a smooth dining experience.
• Provide direct assistance to customers during food and drink consumption.
• Prepare, set up, and dismantle service areas, including arranging tables and chairs.
• Maintain and organize work areas and tools required for efficient service.

Required profile

• Medium‑level vocational training in Hospitality (Ciclo Formativo Grado Medio en Hostelería) with HACCP (APPCC) training.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar waiter or food‑service role.
• High proficiency in English.
• Knowledge of mixology, restaurant operations, or broader hospitality is valued.
• Strong teamwork, stress tolerance, agility, and a polished personal image.
