CAMO Engineer

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is seeking a CAMO Engineer to provide maintenance engineering and fleet management support for the Customer fleet in Getafe, Madrid. The role ensures continuing airworthiness in line with EASA/EMAR Part M regulations, aiming for high fleet availability and low maintenance cost.

Key responsibilities

• Control continuing airworthiness for the Customer fleet and improve fleet availability and performance.
• Develop, update and analyse the Operator Maintenance Program (OMP) and optimise maintenance economics.
• Analyse maintenance status, issue work orders, and manage engineering documentation such as ADs, SBs, VSBs, modifications, and engineering orders.
• Perform cost‑benefit analysis for optional works and report to the Customer.
• Monitor aircraft system reliability, produce reliability reports and support reliability meetings.
• Provide short, medium and long‑term planning, ensure configuration control and maintain technical records in the designated IT tool.

Required profile

• Experience with EASA/EMAR Part M and Part 145 regulations in civil or military operators.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, structures and maintenance operations.
• Ability to liaise with customers, suppliers and internal technical teams.
