Chief Accounting Officer – Global Finance Leader

About the role

Impress is seeking a Chief Accounting Officer to safeguard the integrity of its global financial reporting. You will lead a high‑performing accounting team, drive automation, and ensure compliance with IFRS and local GAAP across a fast‑growing multinational orthodontic network.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual consolidation for all group entities under IFRS and local GAAP.
• Act as the internal technical expert for complex transactions and ensure investment‑ready financial reporting.
• Design and implement automation of accounting and reporting processes to reduce time‑to‑close.
• Optimize ERP and Business Intelligence tools to create a single source of truth for financial data.
• Mentor, scale and set KPIs for the central accounting and control team.
• Coordinate with local finance heads to align subsidiary reporting with group objectives.
• Serve as primary contact for external auditors and lead the annual audit to a clean opinion.
• Develop and maintain a robust internal control framework for a hyper‑growth environment.
• Support M&A activities and funding rounds through financial due diligence and data‑room preparation.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a Group Controller or similar senior finance role within large corporates or multinationals.
• Strong background in external audit.
• Proven expertise in preparing consolidated financial statements under IFRS.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing finance teams.
