Chief of Staff
amenitiz · Barcelona
Job description
About the role
Amenitiz is looking for a Chief of Staff to partner with its CEO, Alexandre, and the Leadership Team on the company's most important priorities: setting a winning strategy and executing it. This high-visibility role translates strategy into clear, owned goals, builds the operating rhythm of the company and leads cross-functional projects that do not belong to any single team. It works closely with the Leadership Team, the Board and investors.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with the CEO and Leadership Team to shape priorities and act as a sounding board on major decisions
- Run Leadership Team rituals, from weekly business reviews to monthly and quarterly offsites, including agenda, inputs, follow-up actions and decisions
- Prepare Board meetings (pre-reads, agenda, materials, follow-ups) and own regular investor updates
- Own the OKR process: turn strategy into company and team objectives, map dependencies, track progress and escalate unresolved issues
- Own the operating system: run the weekly All-Hands, keep communication consistent and fix processes, handoffs and decision rights
- Lead 1-2 strategic, cross-functional projects end to end, from due diligence to delivery against KPIs
- Own business performance reporting to the Leadership Team, Board and investors, diagnosing changes in metrics and proposing solutions
Required profile
- 6+ years of experience in strategy consulting, or in strategy, operations or leadership roles at a scaling software company, ideally B2B SaaS
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen, comfortable with data and financial models
- Proven ability to influence without authority, negotiate and mediate between senior stakeholders
- Fast, well-organised executor who turns big ideas into actionable plans with clear owners, milestones and priorities
- Excellent communicator, able to build presentations and concise reports for teams and the Board
- Complete discretion with confidential information about people, the Board, investors and fundraising
- Full professional proficiency in English; Spanish/French are a plus
What we offer
- Stock options with a progressive vesting schedule
- Comprehensive health insurance
- 25 days of holiday from day one, rising to 28 after the first year and 30 after two years
- €10 a day for lunch through the virtual canteen Kombo when working from the office
- Flexible benefits to save on meals, childcare, transportation and training
- On-demand salary access
- An international team of 35+ nationalities in a European tech hub
