Civil Infrastructure PM/DM Rail

About the role

AECOM is looking for an experienced Civil Infrastructure Project Manager / Design Manager for Rail to lead its design team in a dynamic consultancy environment. The role covers the full design process of rail infrastructure projects, from planning through execution and closure, and involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams and working with other AECOM offices on multicentre projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design process for civil infrastructure projects, focusing on Rail, from project planning to execution and closure.
• Manage and inspire multidisciplinary design teams and coordinate with other EC offices on Multidisciplinary and/or Multicentre projects.
• Oversee design stages from concept to final delivery, keeping to timelines and specifications, and hold regular review meetings.
• Identify design-phase risks and develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with AECOM's quality principles, industry regulations and client specifications.
• Manage design budgets and optimise resource allocation for cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and prepare regular reports for internal teams and stakeholders.
• Adapt to AECOM's Project Delivery Procedures and standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• More than 10 years of experience; USA and Canada experience is an added advantage.
• Extensive experience as a PM/DM in civil infrastructure projects, focused on Rail.
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing multidisciplinary design teams.
• PMP certification is an added advantage.
