Civil Superintendent – Solar Photovoltaic Projects

About the role

Gransolar Group is seeking a Civil Superintendent to support the planning, design, organization, and supervision of civil works for large‑scale solar photovoltaic projects. The role is based in our Madrid office with the expectation to relocate to a project site in Kentucky, USA.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in closing civil works sub‑contracts, including measurements, price reviews, and specification checks.
• Control progress of civil work units such as foundations, fencing, roads, trenches, and earthworks.
• Prepare weekly progress reports for each civil work discipline.
• Update engineering drawings as‑built using CAD tools when required.
• Verify subcontractor invoices and confirm accuracy.
• Monitor delivery and placement of machinery on site, ensuring optimal utilization.
• Enforce safety measures for all civil‑related teams and clearly delimit work areas.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience constructing photovoltaic plants.
• Proficiency in English at B2/C1 level.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Competent use of Microsoft Word.
• User‑level proficiency with AutoCAD/CAD software.
