Clinical Research Associate II (CRA 2) / SCRA

About the role

ICON is a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organisation. As a CRA II (Senior Clinical Research Associate), you will design and analyse clinical trials, interpret complex medical data and help advance new medicines and treatments. The role involves clinical trial monitoring, with approximately 60% travel required.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to clinical trial monitoring, taking responsibility for your deliverables and working collaboratively.
• Carry out site qualification, initiation, monitoring and close-out visits for clinical trials.
• Ensure protocol compliance, data integrity and patient safety throughout the trial.
• Work with investigators and site staff to ensure smooth study conduct.
• Review data and resolve queries to maintain high-quality clinical data.
• Help prepare and review study documentation, including protocols and clinical study reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or healthcare-related field.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate.
• Willingness to travel as required (about 60%).
• Legal right to work in the country where the role is based.

Required skills

• In-depth knowledge of clinical trial processes, regulations and ICH-GCP guidelines.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
