Clinical Research Coordinator - Oncology Trial (Part-Time)

About the role

IQVIA is looking for a Clinical Research Coordinator for a new part-time project in Madrid, supporting an oncology clinical trial on site. The position runs for 6 months, starting at 6 hours per week and growing to up to 18 hours per week. As a key member of the site team, you will carry out administrative tasks to support investigators and help collect patient data.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a safe study environment according to health and safety policies under the Principal Investigator's direction
• Safeguard the well-being of study subjects and act as a volunteer advocate
• Keep study protocols, case report forms, EDC systems and other study documents up to date
• Plan and coordinate logistics for study procedures and perform clinical set-up, including labelling specimen tubes, managing supplies and setting up or troubleshooting equipment
• Assist with data entry, data quality checks and query resolution
• Help with study enrollment by recruiting, screening and orienting volunteers
• Handle study drug custody according to site SOPs and coordinate with the study monitor

Required profile

• BS/BA in life sciences or educational equivalent, or relevant clinical research coordinator experience
• At least three years of experience in oncology clinical trials
• Knowledge of clinical trials, consent forms and study schedules
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology

Required skills

• MS Windows and Office applications such as Access, Outlook, Excel and Word
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills and good communication with colleagues, managers and clients
