Clinical Research Coordinator (Part-Time, 50%)

About the role

ICON is a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organisation. As a Clinical Research Coordinator in Valencia, you will coordinate and manage the day-to-day activities of clinical trials so they run efficiently and comply with study protocols and regulatory standards. This is a part-time position (50% FTE).

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the operational aspects of clinical trials, including participant recruitment, scheduling and site logistics.
• Ensure adherence to study protocols, regulatory requirements and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards throughout the trial.
• Monitor and document trial progress, including data collection, safety reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Provide training and support to site staff so they can carry out trial procedures and protocols correctly.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with study participants and site personnel to keep trial operations running smoothly.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or healthcare-related field.
• Extensive experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator, with a thorough understanding of clinical trial processes and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work independently and guide others.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills, and excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in clinical trial software and tools.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data management and documentation.
