Cocinero/a – Hotel Ponent Beach

About the role

Barceló Hotel Group is seeking a motivated Cook (Cocinero/a) to join the kitchen team at Hotel Ponent Beach in Mallorca. You will work under the Head Chef to ensure high‑quality food preparation and smooth kitchen operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare all recipes according to the technical sheets of the established menu rotation.
• Maintain the proper functioning of the kitchen under the supervision of the Head Chef.
• Assist in cost control, inventory management, and purchasing activities.
• Participate in cleaning, preservation, cooking, regeneration, and replenishment of food items.
• Support receipt and storage of food supplies following established standards and orders.
• Perform tasks in compliance with safety, hygiene, and current legislation.

Required profile

• Higher Vocational Training (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior) in Cooking and Gastronomy.
• Completed HACCP (APPCC) course.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar kitchen role.
• No language requirement; hospitality knowledge is valued.
• Team‑player attitude, creativity, stress tolerance, problem‑solving ability, and meticulous work habits.
