Composite Tooling Engineer

About the role

Airbus Commercial in Cádiz is looking for a Composite Tooling Engineer to join its Jigs & Tools team. You will work on new tooling for research and technology projects, manage external suppliers, and sustain existing tools for serial production. The role bridges design, workshop production and quality engineering across multiple stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop new composite tooling for R&T initiatives.
• Coordinate and manage subcontracted engineering and tooling suppliers.
• Maintain and improve tools used in current serial programmes, analysing production issues and driving root‑cause solutions.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality and program teams to ensure tool reliability.

Required profile

• Degree in Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in composite tooling or materials.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• High adaptability and ability to work in a networked, cross‑functional environment.

Required skills

• Advanced level of CATIA.
• Knowledge of additive manufacturing (nice to have).
