Continuous Improvement Lead – Global Manufacturing

About the role

SolomonEdwards is seeking a senior Continuous Improvement Lead to drive enterprise‑wide improvement initiatives for a leading global manufacturing organization operating across North America, Europe and other markets. The role will apply Lean Six Sigma, data analytics and operational excellence to deliver measurable productivity gains and reduce process variation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional global teams through the DMAIC cycle to identify and eliminate waste.
• Support productivity improvement initiatives and help sites meet annual performance targets.
• Promote data‑based decision‑making across transactional and manufacturing processes.
• Analyze data to uncover trends, root causes and recommend predictive and preventive actions.
• Establish and sustain a culture of continuous improvement across all locations.
• Provide training and coaching on Lean, Six Sigma tools and data analysis.
• Develop sustainability plans to embed improvements into daily operations.
• Define, develop and implement performance improvement strategies across multiple sites.
• Influence senior leadership on improvement opportunities and translate business objectives into projects.
• Lead digitalization and automation projects that enhance efficiency, predictive maintenance and process performance.
• Standardize and communicate best practices organization‑wide.
• Implement performance management frameworks and track leading and lagging KPIs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Operations Management or related technical discipline.
• Six Sigma Green Belt required; Black Belt or Master Black Belt preferred.
• 10–20 years of experience applying Lean Six Sigma in manufacturing environments.
• Proven track record leading continuous improvement initiatives across multiple locations.
• Experience with productivity improvement, digitalization and automation projects.
