Cook (Cocinero/a) – Hotel Occidental Ibiza

About the role

Join the culinary team at Hotel Occidental Ibiza, part of the Barceló Group. As a Cook you will work in a dynamic hotel kitchen, preparing dishes according to established menus and ensuring high standards of quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare all recipes based on technical sheets from the set menu rotation.
• Maintain smooth kitchen operations under the supervision of the Head Chef.
• Assist with cost control, inventory management and purchasing activities.
• Carry out cleaning, food preservation, cooking, reheating and restocking procedures.
• Receive and store food supplies following established standards and orders.
• Follow all relevant health, safety and hygiene regulations.

Required profile

• Higher-level culinary training (e.g., Superior Cycle in Cooking and Gastronomy).
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar kitchen role.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Creativity, stress tolerance and problem‑solving skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HACCP (APPCC) food safety standards.
