Cook (Part-Time)

About the role

Mirasur School, an international bilingual school in Pinto, Madrid, is looking for an experienced cook to support its catering service. The post is part-time (50%) on a fixed-term contract, working closely with the lead cook and kitchen team to prepare, cook and serve nutritious meals for students and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Basic food preparation and cooking of meals for students and staff
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the kitchen and dining areas
• Handling, storing and serving food in line with food hygiene and safety regulations
• Supporting stock management and receiving deliveries
• Helping keep the kitchen organised and efficient

Required profile

• Reliable, organised team player with a positive, service-focused approach
• Experience in a kitchen or catering environment is beneficial
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in keeping things clean
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
• Adaptable, responsible and committed to student wellbeing
• A relevant qualification or training in catering, hospitality or food preparation is an advantage
