Corporate Communications Expert

About the role

The Corporate Communications Expert will lead PowerCo’s external communication strategy, shaping the public image and reputation of our battery‑cell business within the e‑mobility sector. Reporting to senior management, you will craft key messages, engage media, and support branding initiatives to enhance stakeholder perception.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute corporate communication plans aligned with business objectives and brand visibility goals.
• Define and disseminate key messages about the company’s mission, values, project progress and achievements through annual reports, sustainability reports and other corporate literature.
• Create and edit press releases, speeches, intranet posts, social media content and newsletters to ensure consistent messaging.
• Coordinate and manage external events such as press conferences, leadership summits, job fairs and product presentations.
• Maintain and strengthen media relationships, pitch stories and handle media inquiries.
• Monitor public perception across newspapers, online news, social media and broadcast outlets; use media‑monitoring tools to track coverage.
• Manage reputation risks and lead crisis communication when required.
• Oversee external communication channels including the corporate website and social media platforms.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate or external communications, preferably within an industrial or technology environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with media, investors, government bodies and other key stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills for planning and executing events and campaigns.
• Experience handling reputation management and crisis communication.
