Corporate Controller – Finance Team (Hybrid, Barcelona)

About the role

We are seeking a Corporate Controller to join the finance team of an international industrial group based in Barcelona. Reporting directly to the Head of Controlling and working closely with the Finance Director, you will ensure accurate and timely monthly financial reporting to the Group headquarters in Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements and KPI reports for Group HQ under IFRS GAAP and local standards.
• Manage IFRS 16 lease reporting, including contract updates and impact analysis.
• Maintain and improve reporting processes using Tagetik.
• Build and update financial models and dashboards in Power BI.
• Support the annual budgeting, forecasting, and recurring forecast cycles.
• Contribute to Capex reporting, investment tracking, and ROI analysis.
• Assist in the financial integration of newly acquired companies.
• Prepare executive presentations for Group leadership.
• Identify opportunities to automate and simplify finance and reporting processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial audit, controlling, or financial reporting.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Experience with Tagetik consolidation tool.
• Knowledge of IFRS, especially IFRS 16.
• Familiarity with lease management tools such as Planon.
• Proficiency in Power BI for reporting and dashboard creation.
