Corporate Counsel – Sales Legal Advisor (France)

About the role

Cisco is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join its EMEA Sales Legal team. The role supports sales operations in France, providing legal advice on commercial transactions, risk assessment, and contract management while leveraging AI‑enabled tools to enhance efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements in French and English.
• Interpret contractual provisions and advise management on risk and compliance.
• Integrate AI‑powered legal technology for research, document review, and contract analysis.
• Coordinate implementation of corporate legal policies across regions.
• Maintain comprehensive contract documentation and audit trails.

Required profile

• Bar admission in France with native‑level French proficiency.
• 5+ years post‑qualification experience in commercial and corporate law, preferably from a top law firm or multinational corporate legal department.
• Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex contracts independently in both French and English.
• Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.

• Experience with AI‑powered legal technology tools.
• Strong organizational and detail‑oriented approach.
