Country HR Leader – Spain

About the role

The Country HR Leader will shape and execute the people strategy for Spain, partnering directly with the General Manager and executive team. This senior position drives cultural transformation, leadership development, talent attraction, and employee engagement to support the company’s growth in the premium consumer goods market.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the HR strategy for Spain, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Act as a trusted advisor to the General Manager and senior leaders on all people‑related matters.
• Lead organizational development initiatives to strengthen culture, accountability and employee engagement.
• Design and oversee talent management programs covering attraction, development, succession planning, performance management and retention.
• Drive change‑management projects, ensuring effective communication and adoption across teams.
• Develop and deliver leadership development programs to build a high‑performance culture.
• Oversee compensation, benefits and reward policies to maintain competitiveness.
• Continuously improve HR processes, policies, systems and governance frameworks.
• Monitor people metrics and HR KPIs, using data and analytics to inform strategic decisions.
• Enhance the employee experience and employer brand to attract top talent.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Law or a related discipline; postgraduate education is a plus.
• Proven senior HR leadership experience, preferably within a multinational consumer‑goods environment.
• Demonstrated ability to advise senior executives and lead organizational transformation.
• Strong track record in talent management, compensation, and employee engagement.
