Country Visual Manager – Spain & Portugal

About the role

The Country Visual Manager will lead the visual merchandising strategy across Spain and Portugal, ensuring that every point of sale reflects the brand’s identity and sales objectives. Based in Madrid, the role works closely with sales, marketing and retail teams to drive in‑store impact.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain attractive shop presentation in line with JD Sports group guidelines.
• Adapt central visual directives to local realities while preserving brand DNA.
• Supervise rollout of promotional campaigns and commercial operations.
• Analyse field feedback, monitor VM KPIs and produce regular performance reports.
• Lead, motivate and develop the visual merchandising team, organising training and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with the Country Sales Manager to align visual and sales strategies.
• Prepare and accompany senior management visits, showcasing best practices.
• Manage the VM budget, recruitment and compliance with internal procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a visual merchandising or similar role.
• Fluent English (C1 level) and ability to work in Spanish.
• Willingness to reside in Madrid and travel across the two countries.
