Creative Lead (Social & UGC)

About the role

Creative Milkshake is a remote-first performance creative agency making short-form ads for DTC brands on Meta and TikTok. Its Amsterdam studio is the creative heart of production, and this Creative Lead (Social & UGC) role is the final creative eye before work reaches clients. Candidates must be based within +/-3 hours of CET.

Key responsibilities

• Review storyboards, raw footage and final edits, and give specific, actionable feedback to editors on pacing, cuts, text overlays and sound design
• Build and maintain the ad example library, creative checklists and guides, and spot recurring editing and storyboard mistakes
• Review storyboards before shoots and occasionally join shoots at the Amsterdam studio to give creative context and flag unshootable ideas
• Maintain a current relationship with TikTok, Meta and emerging platforms, curate an inspiration feed and advise on which formats to adopt
• Give feedback to Creative Strategists on scripts and concepts, run creative review sessions, and help define the studio's creative identity and portfolio

Required profile

• 3-7 years of hands-on experience in video production, editing, content creation or a creative role at a social-first agency or DTC brand
• Genuine, current feel for short-form social content and ability to explain the craft decisions behind it
• Ability to read paid media and performance marketing reports, and to understand editing and production details
• Specific, timestamped feedback with high emotional intelligence, comfort with ambiguity and fluent English
