Cybersecurity Architect – 100% Remote

About the role

UST is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to join a high‑caliber team supporting a global wealth‑management client. You will design and evolve security architecture across network, system, application and data layers, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory mandates.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and design security architecture that meets business objectives and compliance requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments, prioritize threats, and create mitigation strategies.
• Implement security controls and best practices to defend against malware, phishing, ransomware and insider threats.
• Define and enforce security policies, standards and procedures.
• Create incident response plans, lead detection and response activities, and minimize impact of security events.
• Monitor threat intelligence feeds, security advisories and emerging cyber‑threat trends.
• Perform security assessments, penetration testing and vulnerability analyses.
• Deliver training and awareness programs for employees and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, external partners and senior management to align cybersecurity initiatives with business objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing security architecture for large‑scale enterprises.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and industry security standards.
• Ability to work independently and communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Experience collaborating with global IT and business stakeholders.
