Cybersecurity Engineer – Incident Response & Security Operations

About the role

Hedon is looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer specialized in Incident Response and Security Operations to join its Barcelona hub. You will work across multiple technical teams, helping to detect, investigate and remediate security threats while continuously improving the company’s security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate incident response activities, from detection to remediation.
• Investigate security events, perform root‑cause analysis and develop actionable playbooks.
• Identify, assess and remediate vulnerabilities in collaboration with Infrastructure, DevOps and Software teams.
• Support vulnerability management, risk assessments and compliance audits.
• Implement and evolve security frameworks and best‑practice processes.
• Provide technical guidance on cybersecurity topics to engineering teams.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in security operations, incident response or related roles.
• Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of handling security investigations.
• Professional proficiency in English.
