Cybersecurity Evaluator (Temporary)

About the role

The Cybersecurity Evaluator will support Airbus Helicopters Spain in managing security exceptions, coordinating penetration testing, and overseeing vulnerability and compliance activities across the Airbus Group. This temporary position works closely with multiple teams to ensure secure deployments and maintain a robust security baseline.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and process security exceptions, documenting risk assessments and implementing compensatory controls.
• Assist in organizing internal and external penetration tests, defining scope, scheduling, and communicating with stakeholders.
• Oversee group‑wide vulnerability and compliance management, coordinating remediation actions across subsidiaries.
• Monitor remediation progress, retest solutions, and ensure effectiveness of security controls.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of exception management and remediation processes, identifying automation opportunities.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or information security.
• Strong understanding of frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001, and compliance regulations (e.g., NIS2, GDPR).
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CEH) are a plus.

Required skills

• Python and PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and GRC platforms.
• Familiarity with ticketing and project‑management systems such as JIRA and ServiceNow.
• Knowledge of AI agents applied to cybersecurity contexts.
