Daily Banking & Savings Process Expert

About the role

ING is seeking a Daily Banking & Savings Process Expert to join the COO Daily & Savings Team within the COO Products Tribe in Spain. The role focuses on analysing, monitoring, controlling and developing transactional and savings account processes to ensure an optimal end‑to‑end customer journey.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain deep knowledge of daily banking and savings processes, including bankruptcy handling.
• Implement and enforce robust controls and procedures.
• Monitor external providers’ flows, detect inefficiencies and ensure compliance with SLAs.
• Generate and maintain operational reports to support decision‑making.
• Use data analysis to identify trends, improve customer satisfaction and drive cost efficiency.
• Provide excellent internal and external customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
• Collaborate with Retail, Compliance, Risk Management and Technology teams to align efforts and solve challenges.

Required profile

• University graduate with prior operations experience.
• Proven stakeholder management, especially with external providers.
• Strong analytical mindset and data‑driven decision making.
• Ability to work proactively, with high energy and urgency.
• Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences.
