Danish-Speaking Assistance Coordinator

About the role

Viking Travel Care is looking for Danish-speaking Assistance Coordinators to join its travel insurance assistance centre in Spain. You will help Nordic travellers who experience illness, accidents or other unexpected situations abroad, giving them reassurance, information and practical support. The centre works 24/7, with shifts covering day, evening, night and weekends. Candidates should already live in Spain or be considering moving there.

Key responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls and emails and listen to customers to understand their situation
• Open and follow up on cases
• Provide information about insurance coverage
• Help arrange doctors, clinics, transport, hotels or repatriation when needed
• Work with insurance companies, doctors, clinics and other partners

Required profile

• No specific education required; experience in customer service, travel, healthcare, insurance, hospitality or similar is not required but may be relevant
• Fluent spoken and written Danish, and confident spoken and written English
• Comfortable communicating by telephone and in writing
• Organised, accurate, solution-oriented and able to work in a busy environment
• Team player who learns new systems quickly and is flexible
• Clean criminal record certificate available to proceed in the recruitment process
• Additional languages are an advantage
