Data Engineer (CDP Specialist) - Remote

About the role

Omega CRM Consulting is looking for a Data Engineer (CDP Specialist) to join a newly formed Product Team within a global pharmaceutical company. The role focuses on developing and operating a Customer Data Platform (CDP) used for marketing automation in the Human Pharma and Animal Health business units. The position is remote and full-time.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and organise data, building and maintaining data infrastructure and pipelines.
• Collaborate with the internal team and the external implementation partner to resolve issues proactively.
• Influence and negotiate scope and requirements, championing innovative process changes and technology-enabled solutions.
• Ensure high-quality deliverables and keep the platform stable and compliant.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent.
• 2-5 years of data engineering experience in big data solutions.
• Progressive IT and business experience of 5-10 years preferred.
• Strong communication skills and relationship-building abilities.

Required skills

• Excellent SQL and analytical SQL functions.
• Python scripting, Pandas and DAG scripting.
• Agile delivery and software development lifecycle in a DevOps environment.
• Familiarity with the Atlassian suite (Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence).
• Incident management and test automation experience, preferably on a data platform.
• Knowledge of Treasure Data CDP and/or Data Cloud is a strong plus.
